perfectly imperfect

When we boiled our eggs prior to dyeing them in preparation for Easter Bunny arrival, several of them cracked.  None of us batted an eye and we dyed them anyway.

Sophie Jane said that her favorite one was a the one with the biggest “scar” because it had the best design on it.  My husband agreed, wholeheartedly.

I love this, for many reasons.  I love that my 5-year-old can see beauty in the unconventional.  I love that my husband feels the same.

This bodes well for me personally given all my imperfections, physical and otherwise.  Blessings abound…
